Homework: Due Thursday 21st January
You must use your knowledge gained from Thursdays lesson on the Science Fiction Genre and on trailers as tools of film promotion.
- Finish answering the questions on the Transformers trailer
- Analyse a science fiction trailer from the options below and using my example as a guide and the trailers question sheet to help. Your analysis must be a minimum of 700 words, and include relevant media language (e.g. diegetic and non-diegetic). You must try to use camera language and you have to explain how the science fiction genre is communicated to you (how does it put across genre conventions, ideology, representations, narrative themes? look on your A3 sheet) and how the trailer attracts the interest of the audience.
